Henrick Sawczak is a modern Renaissance man, a true force of nature. Born and raised in Cleveland, OH, within a vibrant Polish community, Henrick’s journey began at the age of three when he first commanded the dance floor with the kind of energy that would define his artistic life. His debut performance—a living room recreation of Dick Van Dyke's iconic Bert from Mary Poppins—marked the moment when the stage became his second home.

From gymnastics to piano lessons, juggling, magic, photography, and film mechanics, Henrick absorbed every artistic influence that came his way. As a student at Nordonia High, he excelled not just in academics but in athletics, swimming, pole vaulting, and fencing. However, it was in the Drama Department that Henrick began to forge his true destiny, becoming a leading man in everything from musicals to Shakespearean epics.

Henrick didn’t just follow a traditional path—he combined his love for both science and art. At The Ohio State University, he earned a degree in Chemical Engineering but also immersed himself in dance, acting, voice, and film, making an unforgettable mark in the university’s prestigious dance program. From intimate undergrad performances to graduate showcases and arts festivals, Henrick's talent stood out.

Returning to Cleveland, Henrick worked as a process engineer and lab technician. He soon joined the Cleveland Shakespeare Company, performing in Two Gentlemen of Verona and Measure for Measure. With the money saved from his time at the plant, Henrick made a life-changing decision: he boarded a train to New York City, where he honed his craft at The Tom Todoroff Conservatory under the mentorship of the best in the business.
